Global specialist insurer Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) has appointed liability insurance veteran Stuart Chamberlain as senior casualty underwriter.
Joining from QBE, Chamberlain brings with him over two decades of experience in liability insurance.
He started his career at AXA and is described as having an excellent reputation in the north of the UK.
“Stuart is a well-established casualty underwriter in the Manchester market,” said Paul Woodward, head of UK liability (distribution) and Europe at TMK.
“He is technically strong across a broad range of sectors and trades and has built robust relationships with both brokers and clients.
“He will be a great asset to our Manchester team and provide the casualty presence we need to grow profitably in the region.”
Chamberlain, whose experience includes time spent at Aon, will write a cross-section of TMK’s stand-alone UK retail liability business and commercial combined package business.
He will be working closely with the
incumbent UK retail property team.
