The University of Ibadan Senate at its meeting on Friday, 13th April, 2018 approved the orientation programme and matriculation ceremony dates for all newly admitted students for the 2017/2018 Session as follows:

The University of Ibadan has approved and released a new Resumption Date for all the newly admitted and Returning Students for the 2017/2018 Academic Session.

The University Senate at its meeting on Friday, 13th April, 2018 has approved the postponement of 2017/2018 Session resumption and re-scheduled it as follows:

UI School Fees Schedule for 2017/2018 Academic Session




This is to inform new and returning students of University of Ibadan that the management of the University has published the school fees schedule for 2017/2018 Academic session.

Fresh students that have been cleared can now print 'Authority to Pay' from the portal. Returning students can also log on to the portal to make

About University Of Ibadan (UI)



University of Ibadan (UI) is the first University in Nigeria. Until 1962 when it became a full-fledged independent University, it was a College of the University of London in a special relationship scheme. The University, which took off with academic programs in the Arts, Science and Medicine, is now a comprehensive citadel of learning with academic programs in thirteen Faculties.

The University is currently structured as a non-profit public higher education institution. UI’s Postgraduate School is the largest in Africa, with its undergraduate and postgraduate student population split 50/50.

UI offers courses and programs leading to education degrees including Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees in several areas of study. The University produces an average of 3,000 Masters and 250 PhD’s
every year. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment at UI.

The Faculties of the Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Public Health and Dentistry are organised as a College of Medicine.

The University has other academic units including the Institute of Child Health, Institute of Education, Institute of African Studies, Centre for Child Adolescent and Mental Health, Centre for Educational Media Resource Studies, African Regional Centre for Information Science (ARCIS), Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies (CEPACS), Centre for Petroleum, Energy, Economics and Law (CPEEL), Centre for Sustainable Development (CESDEV), Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI), Institute for Advanced Medical Research and Training (IAMRAT), Centre for Drug Discovery, Development & Production (CDDDP), and the Centre for Control & Prevention of Zoonosis (CCPZ).

Postgraduate Programmes purportedly run by the University
of Ibadan Consultancy Services.

We wish to inform members of the Public that the University
is not aware, and is not involved in such programmes.

UI Admission Clearance Exercise for Newly Admitted Candidates for 2017/2018 Academic Session



This is to inform all candidates who have
been offered provisional admission in
the 2017/ 2018 UTME and Direct Entry
admissions exercise that the clearance
exercise will commence on Monday, 19th
March, 2018.

ONLY CANDIDATES WHO HAVE
SUCCESSFULLY PAID THEIR ACCEPTANCE FEES
WILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE CLEARANCE
PORTAL.
