Charles Taylor extends marine claims management capability with deal



Charles Taylor TPA has expanded its marine claims management
capabilities in the US with the acquisition of Aasgard Summit
Management Services.
Aasgard Summit is a provider of marine claims management
and related technical services, particularly focusing on the US
West Coast. The company has offices in Seattle and Hawaii.

The purchase of Aasgard Summit also adds further specialist
marine surveying capabilities to Charles Taylor’s suite of technical
insurance services. A release said that marine surveying “has
strong linkages and potential synergies with Charles Taylor’s
existing marine claims management and marine adjusting
businesses.”

Marock added that the transaction is part of the company’s
