UNIZIK 12th Convocation Ceremony Schedule of Events

This is to announce to the 2016/2017 Graduands of Nnamdi
Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK), parents/Guardians, Alumni
of the University and the Public that activities marking the 12th
Convocation Ceremonies of the University for the award of
First and Higher Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates,
Presentation of Prizes and Award of Honorary Degree will take
place from Monday, 19th to Friday, 23rd March, 2018.

Details of the activities which will commence on Monday, 19th
March, 2018 are as follows:

Interdenominational Service

2. Tuesday, 20th March, 2018
Presentation of prizes to the best graduating students
Venue: University Auditorium
Time: 12.00 Noon

3. Wednesday, 21th March, 2018
Convocation Lecture by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Chibuike
Rotimi Amaechi, the Minister of Transport
Topic: The Igbos in the Politics of Nigeria
Venue: University Auditorium
Time: 1.00 p.m.

4. Thursday, 22nd March, 2018
Award of First Degree
Venue: Convocation Arena
Time: 11.00 a.m.

5. Friday, 23rd March, 2018
a) Commissioning of newly completed projects by the
President, Federal Republic of Nigeria and Visitor to Nnamdi
Azikiwe University or his representative.

b) Award of Postgraduate and Honorary Degrees
